This Privacy Policy describes how ericaprints.com (the “Site” or “we”) collects, uses, and discloses your Personal Information when you visit or make a purchase from the Site.

1. Collecting Personal Information

When you visit the Site, we collect certain information about your device, your interaction with the Site, and information necessary to process your purchases. We may also collect additional information if you contact us for customer support.

Device Information

• Purpose of collection: to load the Site accurately for you, and to perform analytics on Site usage to optimize our Site.

Order Information

• Examples of Personal Information collected: name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and phone number.
• Payment Information: We do not store your full credit card details or payment credentials on our servers. All payments are securely processed by third-party payment gateways (WooPayments and PayPal).
• Purpose of collection: to provide products or services to you to fulfill our contract, to process your payment information, arrange for shipping, and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations, communicate with you, and screen our orders for potential risk or fraud.

Customer Support Information

• Examples of Personal Information collected: information sent by you via email or our contact forms.
• Purpose of collection: to provide customer support.

Pet Portrait Photo Uploads

When you order a Pet Portrait, you upload a photo of your pet so we can generate the custom AI portrait. This is the only product flow on the Site that involves photo uploads.

• What we collect: the photo you upload (JPG/PNG, up to 20MB), the IP address of the upload request (for fraud prevention), and a session identifier that ties the upload to your order.
• How it is processed: the photo is sent to our AI processing partner, which runs the generation model and returns the AI-generated portrait. The partner processes the photo solely to fulfill our generation request; we do not use it for any other purpose, and it is not used to train AI models.
• Retention: uploaded photos and the generated portraits are stored on our server for 90 days, then automatically deleted by our cleanup job. Generated portraits associated with a placed order are retained longer (with the order record) so we can reprint in case of damage or loss.
• Your rights: you can request earlier deletion of an uploaded photo at any time by emailing [email protected] with the order or upload reference.

Cookies

We use cookies for essential Site functionality and your preferences. The most notable cookies we set are:

• WooCommerce session cookies — required for the cart and checkout to work.
• ep_currency_pref — stores the display currency you choose (e.g., USD, EUR, RON). 30-day expiry. No personal data.
• Authentication cookies — set only if you log in to an account.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; some Site features (like keeping items in your cart) will not work without them.

2. Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not intentionally collect Personal Information from children. If you are the parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us at the address below to request deletion.

3. Sharing Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfill our contracts with you, as described above.

• We use WordPress and WooCommerce to power our online store.

• We use a third-party AI processing partner for Pet Portrait generation. Uploaded photos are sent to the partner to run the generation model; they process the photo solely to fulfill our generation request and do not use it to train AI models.
• We use printing fulfillment partners in the US, Canada, Europe, the UK, and Australia to produce and ship your order. We share only the data needed to fulfill your order (your shipping address and the artwork/portrait file) with the partner closest to your delivery location.
• We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

4. Behavioral Advertising

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. We use your personal Information to provide our services to you, which includes: offering products for sale, processing payments, shipping and fulfillment of your order, and keeping you up to date on new products, services, and offers.
